"Dr.
Dandrea is different, period. I have been to countless doctors,
chiropractors, massage therapists, and physical therapists,
and no one has diagnosed and treated my lower back issue with
as much precision and acumen. Working together with Dr. Dandrea
I have seen the very thing that has eluded me for some years
now: Results. In just a short period of time my pain has decreased
and my function has increased, all without surgery. It is
hard to argue with results. Bottom line, if you are experiencing
pain or discomfort, even if
no one

has
been able to help you, give Dr. Dandrea a shot at the title.”

Medical
Services for Pain Management
Under
the direction of Dr. Joseph Mejia, D.O.,
our medical staff offers non-surgical treatment for a number of
musculoskeletal conditions, including
back pain, neck pain, sciatica, and disc problems. Our Medical Director
is a specialist in Pain Management and works closely with our physical
therapists, acupuncturist, and chiropractic doctors to devise conservative
treatment plans with the objective of reducing pain and increasing
mobility with the least invasive procedures possible.
Dr.
Mejia offers minimally invasive procedures,
such as Epidural Steroid Injections and Trigger Point Injections,
in order to help patients avoid surgery and allow the body to heal
in the healthiest way possible—through physical therapy, acupuncture,
and/or chiropractic care.
Acupuncture
Monmouth
Pain and Rehabilitation incorporates the best of both Western and
Eastern pain management techniques. Acupuncture is an ancient Chinese
practice that works by harmonizing the body’s life force (Qi).
From a pain management perspective, acupuncture helps the body to
release endorphins for natural, drug-free relief from pain, while
also prompting the production of serotonin, which works to block
pain signals to the brain. Acupuncture at our Red Bank, NJ office
also promotes relaxation and balanced mental health while lowering
blood pressure.
Our
smoking cessation program, Quit Smoking
Now, incorporates acupuncture as an effective tool in the quitting
process.
Physical
Therapy
The
physical therapists at Monmouth Pain and Rehabilitation work directly
with our medical staff to help patients develop and sustain strength
while maximizing flexibility and mobility.
Our
cutting edge facility incorporates a number of effective physical
therapy modalities, including Spinal
Decompression Traction, Low
Level Laser Therapy, Electrotherapy,
Ultrasound Technology, and carefully designed programs of Active
Rehabilitation. Our Red Bank office was also one of the first
rehabilitation facilities in New Jersey to utilize Power
Plate whole vibration therapy to treat pain and provide the
newest in stabilization exercise.
Chiropractic
Care
When
the spine is misaligned, the nervous system is compromised, leaving
the entire body vulnerable to disorder and disease. Under the direction
of Dr. Thomas Dandrea, D.C., our Red
Bank Chiropractors use a number of established chiropractic techniques
to ensure optimal spinal health, including Chiropractic
Biophysics (CBP), Activator, Cranio-Sacral, Webster Baby Turning
Technique, and complete postural and scoliosis correction.
Monmouth
Pain and Rehabilitation offers chiropractic procedures that are
based on scientific findings to help patients find relief
from back pain, neck pain, migraines, fibromyalgia, disc problems,
carpal tunnel syndrome, asthma and allergies, tendonitis, sports
injuries, auto accident injuries, and many other conditions.
