Case Studies

The two x-rays below are of the neck, also called the cervical spine. They are taken from the side with the patient looking forward in his/her normal posture. The x-ray on the left displays a normal cervical spine with a "c" shaped curve called a lordosis. Also the head is held upright over the shoulders showing zero forward head carriage, also called a translation. This normal has been established and published in medical and chiropractic literature. The x-ray on the right displays a severely abnormal cervical spine with a reversal of the normal curve. This is called a subluxation and has serious consequences on our health and well-being.
