Nicole Heuschkel L.Ac, is board certified by the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.) She has received a Master’s level degree from the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine in Montlcair, NJ. Nicole has been extensively trained in various styles of acupuncture, including TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), Japanese and Five Element. Prior to her endeavor in acupuncture, Nicole received a BS in Biochemistry from Seton Hall University, graduating with honors.
Nicole has always been a firm believer of alternative remedies, but her travels abroad sparked an interest in Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine. Her passion for travel, coupled with her gravitation towards teaching, led her to China in 2007, where she taught English to children at Huizhen Academy. Nicole’s adventurous side continues to lead her all over the world, most recently finding herself living in Costa Rica. Nicole enjoys exploring other countries views and approaches to health. She believes that health is an everyday practice and is fully achieved through the balance of the mind, body and spirit. Nicole specializes in pain management, detox, and emotional wellness, and will be expanding her knowledge in the sports medicine and infertility fields.
Hugh Kim, L.Ac is a National Board Certified Acupuncturist (NCCAOM) licensed acupuncturist and certified Chinese herbalist. Having his grandfather as an oriental medicine doctor in Korea he grew up in the family clinic and was inspired to become an acupuncturist. Following his interest, he received his Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Emperor’s college: Graduate School of Integrative Medicine. He has been practicing since 2003 and he specializes in women’s health, pain management, digestive issues, neuropathy, spine and joint related conditions and stress management utilizing acupuncture, herbs, cupping, moxibustion, and auriculotherapy.
Our Licensed Acupuncturist Aaron Park earned a Master’s degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He practices both acupuncture and herbology. Comprehensively trained and highly motivated, he uses his in-depth knowledge of Korean Sa’am (Four Needle) acupuncture, Five Element Acupuncture and Trigger point Release Techniques. Aaron believes in and exercises a very practical approach to improve musculoskeletal pain by applying both traditional acupuncture methods as well as the electro-acupuncture techniques, which use electro-stimulations to break the stagnations in affected muscles to improve the condition. Aaron treats all types of musculoskeletal pain and also specializes in digestive issues, headaches, gynecological disorders, and psychological disorders. Aaron especially emphasizes the fact that in order to bring wellness to the body, it is imperative to first have peacefulness and a balanced mental state. Therefore, in his treatments he values the communication with patients to achieve his holistic view of wellness.
