Dr. Chris Thomas is a PT, Doctor of Physical Therapy. He graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a B.S in Health Sciences in 2014. He then graduated with honors distinction from the University of Saint Mary in Kansas with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2018. Dr. Chris’ clinical experience includes a variety of orthopedic, and sports conditions, as well as post-op rehab. He has a special interest in orthopedics, sports medicine, and manual therapy and plans on furthering his education and knowledge in these areas. Dr. Chris hopes to expand his skill-set and treatment techniques by obtaining a Clinical Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT) in the near future, and in time, become a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
Dr. Chris believes in empowering patients towards their own goals with active treatment, allowing patients to improve their functional mobility and quality of life. He is devoted to serving others, and finds that excellence and success are achieved together through dedication, hard work, dreaming big and setting goals.
In his free time, Dr. Chris enjoys playing and watching sports such as basketball, football, and baseball and enjoys the company of his family and friends. He is a hometown sports fan of the NY Giants, NY Knicks, and NY Mets. Dr. Chris is a Staten Island native but recently moved to Monmouth County in 2018. He is excited to begin his new journey in Monmouth County by helping the community through service. He believes wholeheartedly in MPR’s philosophy of delivering 5-star service, and being driven by passion and purpose, which allows him to leave a positive influence on our society.
