Dr. Chang earned a Bachelor of Science from Yale University in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He went on to complete medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey—Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (UMDNJ). This was followed by an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ and then a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at New York University’s Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine. Finally, Dr. Chang returned to UMDNJ for fellowship training in musculoskeletal Physiatry at the Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey.
Dr. Chang is an avid learner and continues to attend courses and workshops to remain at the cutting edge of pain management and Physiatry. He is presented his research of spinal injections in August of 2011 at the International Spinal Injectionist Society’s annual scientific meeting.
