Pediatric Chiropractic at Monmouth Pain

The treatment of infants and children is often very simple – it consists of a gentle massage-like technique which is called Cranial Therapy. Infants respond very quickly in most cases with parents reporting results in as few as just one treatment.

Due to traumas of birth and the many physical stresses experienced by newborns and infants, spinal subluxations can and do occur. This does leave a child vulnerable to health issues including colic.

Although our goal with our pediatric population of patients is to find areas of imbalance at gently work to resolve them naturally and without any side effect, we find that infants and children can find results with conditions such as: Colic, Torticollis, Ear Infections, Asthma, and even cases of ADHD.

Torticollis and Scoliosis are primary conditions we treat directly and specifically and oftentimes co-treat with our team of physical therapists.

Do children need chiropractic care?

Our practice provides chiropractic treatments that are safe, gentle, and effective. In addition to Cranial Therapy, many of the chiropractors at Monmouth Pain use a technique known as Chiropractic Biophysics (CBP) which incorporates an instrument that provides a vibrating force while correcting spinal issues.

Chiropractic care is not a cure for Colic even though most of the infants that come in with Colic resolve quickly. In fact, it is not used as a treatment for any specific health conditions. Instead, by using highly specialized techniques to reduce spinal stress and subsequent nerve stress, chiropractic helps infants and children by restoring normal function. This allows their body’s natural recuperative abilities to do its job.
